Description
This application is carried out as part of the exhibition Frédéric Bazille, youth of Impressionism. This exhibition is organized by the Musée Fabre in Montpellier (25 June to 16 October 2016), the Musée d'Orsay in Paris (November 15, 2016 - March 5, 2017) and the National Gallery of Art in Washington (April 9 to July 9, 2017 ).
It offers a tour of the city of Montpellier in connection with the painter Frédéric Bazille (1841-1870).
Richly illustrated texts used to explore Montpellier the Second Empire, discovering the places of life of the painter and his family, as well as those that evoke his memory. Find many anecdotes about the painter's life and the city of Montpellier. This localized geo app allows you especially to visit in autonomy the pedestrian historic center of the city and its public gardens.
