Mumtaz: Let's Learn Arabic Gra

Description

This product focuses on learning the topic of circumstantial adverb (الحال) and distinction (التمييز) in Arabic Grammar through the interactive multimedia application Mumtaz (Excellent). The problems that lead to develop this product are that students believe that the Arabic language is difficult to understand and contains a lot of grammar, which makes them unwilling to learn Arabic. In addition to these problems, teachers prefer to use less effective instructional strategies and the number of Arabic grammar applications produced is limited, which makes it necessary to conduct this research. The objectives are to identify how to design and develop the application, especially in learning the topic of circumstantial adverb and distinction, and to reveal the usefulness of this application. The researcher has adopted the descriptive-analytical development approach, the Mumtaz's application and the questionnaire as a study tool. The data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences program. The results showed that using this application is easy (100% agreed) and appropriate (97.6%) for students, and it also can be a means of adding information (100%) in learning the topic of circumstantial adverb and distinction.
