Description

Six animations for understanding earthquakes, used by SVT (college):
1- ORIGIN AND SPREAD OF SEISMIC WAVES: animation showing the origin of seismic waves (home) and loss of intensity when propagating from the epicenter.
2 INFLUENCE OF MAGNITUDE AND DEPTH OF FIREPLACE: animated to simulate the influence of the magnitude and depth of focus on the intensity of an earthquake area
3. DISTRIBUTION OF EARTHQUAKES IN THE WORLD: Animation allows to link the distribution of the world's earthquakes and reliefs.
4- SEISMIC HAZARD OF FRANCE: animation showing the map of seismic hazard of the Metropolitan France and Overseas Mer.
5- and seismogram seismometer: animations for understanding the operating principle of the seismometer and show how the analysis of a seismogram can locate the epicenter of an earthquake and determine its magnitude.
6- ORIGIN AND PREVENTION OF TSUNAMI: Animation for understanding the genesis of a tsunami and the importance of early warning systems (eg DART system).
